Description
Family Constellations Workshop represent a life philosophy and therapeutic method developed by Bert Hellinger in the 1990s, which explores the dynamics of family relationships and the impact of past family events on the individual’s present. This approach is used to uncover and resolve emotional patterns and deep conflicts that may be unconsciously inherited from previous generations.
During a Family Constellation session, the client presents a personal issue (related to health, relationships, career, etc.), and the therapist organizes a “constellation” where other people (or objects) are used to represent family members or other significant elements in the client’s life. These representatives are guided by what they feel in their roles, revealing hidden dynamics and systemic imbalances. Through this process, traumas, hidden loyalties, or repetitive dysfunctional patterns within the family can be identified and addressed.
